Lockdown - An Eye-Opener

For me, life before lockdown had been pretty good!
Going to the gym, chilling with friends and eating street food. I liked my daily routine , I was quite fond of it. But, then the lockdown was announced on 24th March 2020. Initially it was for 21 days but deep down, we all knew that it will get extended.

During the first phase, I was worried because my 12th exams were postponed. I started making the best of my time by playing games with my family, video calling my friends, reconnecting to people I had lost contact with. Not only I started investing more of my time in my hobbies such as singing, playing guitar, cooking and writing but also I did exercises to maintain my health.

I recorded few songs but I wasn't sure whether people would like it or not. Setting aside my doubts, I uploaded the additional verse video that I wrote and I was overwhelmed with the response. That day I, realised something. "Just be yourself and let people see the Real, Imperfect, Flawed, Quirky, Beautiful and Magical person that you are!"

As weeks passed, I started missing my daily routine. I had breakdowns and those were the times when I realised how precious our life is!
"So, Enjoy every moment you have.
Because in life, there are no Rewinds."

This experience of being locked in a house, is an eye-opener. I am glad that I was able to make time for the things which I couldn't do in my daily routine.
One major impact that Lockdown had on me was that it helped me in realising my own, SELF-WORTH. I am the competitor of my own abilities and each day passing by, I am becoming a better version of myself
