Soul Sisters - A Bond More Than Just Friendship

"Oh My God! You're the only child? Damn girl, you are soo lucky. Aren't You?"

This is the response everyone usually gives me after they get to know that I am the only child of my parents.
Is that reaction completely fair?

Well, It's Not!

Everyone is amazed imagining the perks of being the only child to your parents but never do they realize the cons.

Being the Only child is stressful at times. You are the one and only hope of your Parents. You have no siblings who you can trust to look after your parents.

"You can consider both of us as your friends," said my parents, but never did they know that certain things are not meant to be shared with them.

For that, you need a sibling. You can't tease your parents or blame them for any mischief or share your twisted-lame jokes or share your wardrobe for that you need a sibling!

There are days when you keep things in your heart, you don't have anyone to share your darkest secrets or your stupid monkey-business with, you don't have a sister or a brother to ease it out by laughing and making fun out of it.
That's how things were going for years until I met my soul sisters, my musketeers.

The girls who I can proudly call my best friends. Never did I think even in my dreams that my Introvert ass could turn into an extrovert. The girl who used to sit quietly all sophisticated, who used to give weird unwanted vibes, has been completely changed by random girls, who I refer to as my best friends.

Being the only child, I felt alone. I had no one to confide my girly gossips or daily dilemmas into.
But now, for the last 4 years, I have sisters from another mother. We tell each other everything. It's like we're in contact always and throughout the day. Like our brains and thoughts are connected somehow. The bond we share is even stronger than the world's strongest covalent bond...

Lucky are those who have such friends like me.
