I travelled back in time during this lockdown
Yess! You read it right I travelled back in time.
With so much free time I didn't limit myself to just a prayer every morning, I started reading my grandfather's Bible. He died last August and since then there is not a single day that I don't miss him. You see he was just like the sibling I never had.
So when I started reading his Bible. He had made notes for some verses which helped him during his ups and downs of life. And they are still relatable to me even after 30 years. I think this is the power of the Bible no matter how many years pass by but the verses remain the same, they provide you strength, hope, and joy in one way or the other.
Reading his Bible definitely made me miss him more but more than I realized that there were so many times that he felt broken too, just like I'm feeling right now when my graduation is a stake. That he too felt stuck, just like I'm feeling right now given the pandemic. So the Lord's word and his notes helped me and have given me the hope that one day this all will be over.
And then things just like this 'The lockdown stories' will be our notes. You'll come through this page once again and smile. You'll see the painting you made during this period or you'll see the picture of the dish you made. The time you were with your family and prayed for world health. Because these are our notes, notes of hope and well wishes for everyone.
It's just awesome ☺️.
ReplyDeleteThe holy books given by our grandparents have always been the most miraculous blessings. Very touching Angel.🤗
