Faced with the stark reality,
The lockdown contained only virtual sense.
Surrounded with the bay of apprehensiveness,
Whilst drowning in home-sickness.
Escaping the dungeon,
Until there is any return of semblance of normalcy.
The COVID-19 cases up-surged,
Watching a macabre catastrophe in fast motion,
I felt sick to the stomach.
Picking up some rhythm,
Walking down the streets,
Serving the vulnerable,
Binging into movies and writing reviews,
I’m no damsel in distress.
The art of acquisition of new skills,
Shall mellow the forfeit,
Prepping up myself for the,
“new-normal” that awaits.
