But enough of this negativity. I'm going to share my own story (so far that is XD) of this "unique" time XD. So let's get into it.
1000 tasks.... A lockdown story
Just before the outbreak, I was studying for my 2nd year pre-med exams🤓📖. And so this gave me a chance to focus on my career (gotta study someday 😂😬). But the fact that my father is a Ph.D. psychiatrist and my mother is an OCD (yeah go figure 😂), a lockdown was enforced in the house even before the official announcement 📢 . In the midst of all the chaos, students started praying 🙏 for the cancellation of the exams (hey, we gotta do what we gotta do you know 😅). And FINALLY, our prayers were answered, now I could relax (or so I thought 😂😅).
I could focus on my personal goals and on myself. But when I opened the "to-do" list, even I thought that it was not gonna be a vacation 😅 (running a food blog, poetry page, publishing a book, cooking, reading, working out, and how can we forget Netflix am I right 😂😉) apparently there were not enough hours in the day to do that "to-do" list😂📃.
And now I'm more than three months into the lockdown (looking like a caveman 😂😜) even though the government (Pakistan) has lifted it (can't argue with a doctor and an OCD though 🤐😅). And to be honest I'm having a very productive and progressive experience each and every day 🙌🔥. Less external issues and no hurry or unnecessary obligation.... Just me, myself, and perfectly divided 1000 thousand tasks to do on a daily basis 😅🙌, and surprisingly even I don't know where I got the energy or time to do all this, oh wait maybe I do 😂😂.
My blog is growing steadily✅, everything is on-track with the book publishing🙌, my inner chef has been released quite often recently 🍲🥗🍝, working out 💪, and to add to the mix I'm preparing for entrance test exams as well 🤓📖.
Yes, I won't deny that the virus has caused more harm than good (other than the exam cancelation jk ). But since we are in this situation, we should really try to make the most of it. Take a new hobby, complete unfinished personal tasks, and take on new one's. Trust me when you come out of all this at the other end..... You'll only make yourself proud 🙌❤️
