My- kinda-hacks

I am from Vadodara, but my college is in Ahmedabad - Nirma University. I was so excited when I came to know about the 15 days holiday declared from the 15th of March till the 29th of March. My happiness was on the 7th cloud because I had two whole weeks to spend with my friends and family. I packed my luggage, assuming its just 15 days. So I didn't carry any books, didn't feel like taking the trimmer too. I had made a list of restaurants and cafes to visit during these two weeks.

I was happy when I came home, had a friend's birthday so I went there. I enjoyed it a lot till a week, and suddenly got news about the Janta Curfew. At first, I felt it to be good, but gradually I started feeling imprisoned, in my own home! Moreover, my university started taking online lectures at noon every day and the assignments even added to my dread during the lockdown. I started hating this lockdown period.

But one fine day, I woke up with a different level of positivity within. I started looking at the brighter side of this lockdown. And since then, I'm loving this. I did online courses on machine learning, data science, and whatnot. I celebrated my birthday too in this lockdown. It was beautiful. The thing I'm the most thankful for is I can wake up at any time I wish, unlike my usual university routine. I get a really delicious homemade food every day! Yes, it's a blessing. You can ask someone what homemade food means to anyone who lives in a hostel or a PG😝

I watched Sherlock Holmes, the only series I've watched till now and I considered myself super intelligent after watching that, just like relieving childhood.  I started loving things, and I am so happy about this. I don't think, there could be a time better than this to spend time with your family, night walks on the terrace with the cool wind, conference calls with your friends, crazy college and PG memories you miss, writing a poem every day for the whole month of April (National Poetry Writing Month). So I got my blog on Instagram - Mykindahacks. Follow if you love reading stuff (#selfpromotion, haha).

And the best part I learned in this lockdown is to love yourself, explore yourself. And fortunately, I came to know that I got no creative skills except writing, I can't dance, can't sing, can't sketch, can't paint. How awesome is that! But still laughing on yourself and still being happy with whatever you have is the best feeling one can get. So that was my story. I hope you too are enjoying the lockdown, and even if you're not, you got no choice hehe.
