Silver lining in Lockdown

This picture shows a happy girl.

So, before this lockdown happened
I had a fast moving life, running between classes to coaching to night out with friends. I hardly stood still.
I fear idleness, I'm always up & going.
So, you see, lockdown brought me to a sudden halt.
I came back home, and this is the first time in last 2years I'm living here for such extended months.
As time passed by, days started to converge into each other and then the monotony hit me.
That's when I decided to start working more towards my love for art & writing.
I had a blog since my school years, but I wasn't very active on it because of all the commotion during college days.
So, I started building it again & I started writing more. That helped me with easing my anxiety.
I have always been good at sketching and a lot of times I thought I should take it up a notch but I was always dubious about it.
But this time, I finally started this little venture where I made portraits for people to gift them others during lockdown & to my surprise I got great response.
Also, the best part of having so much free time at hand is, I get a lot of time to read.
In the span of lockdown, I've read 5 novels till now & I can't wait to read more & more.
Hence, I found a silver lining in the dark clouds.
Although, being stuck in the red zone with news of people around getting sick was the most terrifying part of this lockdown.
This time I realized maintaining good mental health is as important as physical health. And to the people out there, who are still struggling, it'll get easier day by day.
Just hang in there & reach out.
