Realities and Realisations

"Mere pyaare desh vasiyon! Aaj raat 12 baje se poore Bharat desh me 21 dino ke liye sampurna  lockdown ghoshit kiya jata h"
Yes these words actually gave a mini heart attack to all the Indians and obviously me too!
There was a tornado of thoughts going through my mind! 'How will I survive these many days staying at home? What about my daily meets and chill scenes with my friends? What about weekend parties, restaurants, malls, movies and much more aesthetic stuff of my life?' But the second thought was- there's no option coz, at last, it's for our own life!

And there started my lockdown story!
These are some lessons that I realised and learnt at the beginning of the lockdown itself!
'What matters the most in life is your 'OWN LIFE'!'
'No aesthetic things can run your life! And yes, of course, its proved- we have been surviving nicely and in an even healthier way without every aesthetic thing since these 4 months!'
Next was the most important realisation-
'Money can't buy lives- Everyone including the ones living in  huts and even the ones living in the costliest houses of the world are in lockdown coz money can't buy life!'
'Who matters the most is just your family! They were the only ones who make your life worth living even in this lockdown'

'Smallest of things in life gives the biggest of happiness to you! Yes learnt and tried a hell lot of things in this lockdown! And I know many of you would have had the same experience! No matter whether it's cooking delicious recipes every day or it's baking different flavoured cakes, whether it's having yoga sessions every evening with your family or it's trying different paintings!
And personally, these smallest things never made my lockdown boring! Waking up every day with a new task and that's it! Your day is fantastic!

On the 25th of March, it was our new year 'chetichand' but yes I was not that excited coz we were not going to celebrate it the same as we used to every year! But still, we woke up and got ready in traditional, met elders, had homemade sweets, prayed and spent time with siblings and that made me realise the importance of festivals in our life!
Even in this situation of pandemic a festival can bring a light of hope in your hearts and lives!
Yes on 18th of April came my D DAY, my birthday!

I was not able to have a birthday party with my friends but my family and my very closed ones were still with me to make it special! I had 3 homemade cakes! All the homemade delicious recipes!
And a very enthusiastic day with my real ones! And at the end of the day, I realised that this birthday was even more special than the normal ones!

And same was with all the other occasions that came in lockdown!
One last realisation I would like to share is
'God is the only savior and he is still the owner of all the puppets on this earth.
No matter how superior these puppets think they are!'
There's a saying in Hindi- ' Vo chahe to ek pal me sab sahi kar de aur vo chahe to ek pal me sab tabaah' and yes he proved it!
At the end- ' It just needs an optimistic heart'♥️
