करुणा - A Journey through my Lockdown days.

I’ve always been worried about dogs and cows who are abandoned or are strays. From the very first day of the lockdown me and my whole team started feeding the strays near us. We started by making 100-150 rotis per day to 500-600 rotis now.
This pandemic was indeed worse for everyone and we tried our best to help as many people as we can. We’ve been feeding lower class and labourers too.
We worked with WHO as well.

Feeding strays was and is still the best part of the day and I and my whole team is looking forward to doing this as long as we can. At this point of time, I can tell you with absolute certainty that I’ve created a personal bond with almost every dogs and cows that I’ve fed. It has been truly an amazing journey till now and hoping to be the same in the future.

We’ve started a game as very silly games were becoming trending on Instagram, Whatsapp, Facebook and everywhere. We started a game in which we urged people to feed strays near them and asked them to share a picture while doing so use the hashtag “करूणा”.
I loved bonding with them and I know for sure they love me too. I wish to take all of them home but I’m bound with certain things and let’s face it, it can’t happen for real. 🙄

It’s my humble request to each and everyone reading this to please feed strays near you. And pass the message to your friends and relatives to do the same. We humans can share and express our emotions our pain our suffering but they can’t say a single word to express their pain. They’re in much bigger trouble than we are. We’re at least getting meals every day.. even to the ones who can’t afford in this difficult time by the government and many NGOs. But very fewer people are feeding the strays thinking that might spread the virus. Even if it’s true we can make a distance and still can feed them.
Many people out there are hurting the ones who are feeding the strays by blaming that they are spreading the virus. It’s a humble request to each one of you who thinks and hurts the people feeding the strays to not do this. Please.

They’re just helping the strays to not sleep with an empty stomach.

We’ve been feeding more than 150 dogs and 50 cows every day.
Hoping to expand it as soon as we can.
