Always getting stuck inside the house and not getting a chance to interact with the outer world can actually let you get traumatized and I think that’s the reason why the studies also show that women are more likely to get reported with mental issues in comparison to men.
The thing that actually hits my mind and soul is that, despite knowing all these facts, I am not doing anything. I just wonder either if could change the view of people towards women's equality and freedom or not. The guilt of not being able to help those women out there suffering from the patriarchal trend is killing me.
Whenever we would try to do something different from others, a million questions are raised and the main question would always be, “What will people say?”. But excuse me, I wanna ask you “Do you seriously have time to watch what people would be doing on their regular life?”. And even if you have enough time then why don’t you utilize that time on doing something good for the society rather than being a spy camera and a gossip machine.
If you think that I’m being away too feminist and if you believe that women are getting equal rights then you should watch the actual version of human societies rather than creating your own imagination by sitting in a room.
I am not saying that women's rights should be higher than the male rights but at least the rights should be equal and the most important thing is to know the difference between pseudofeminism and feminism. Then only we can change the view of people towards women empowerment and freedom.
This is what this lockdown taught me and I’m happy that I’m getting a chance to learn various aspects of society
