Reliving that eleven

Before commencing my story, let me ask you all a question. What's that one best experience which still fills your heart with sweetest feels? Let me guess...

That smell of your favorite delicious Biriyani urging yeh dil mange mor; Or watching some classic movie; Or is it, A look from your crush smiling sweetly, combined with sorts of Violins in the background playing melody tuning into: Ankho se tune yeh kya keh diya, dil yeh diwana dhadkne laga; Or that unfortunate yet “ecstatic feeling” when your friend had a breakup? You know its like, Jab dost fail hojaye too dukh hota hai, lekin first aa jaye to zyada dukh hota hai; Woh dukh wali khushi..!!

Naahhh..!! The One experience that all of you must be super excited to rediscover and re-experience is to wander back into the lane of our sweet, 11-year-old memories. What if we had a chance to relive those moments?

Play-List tuned; Time Machine configured,
Lost in those mesmerizing moments,

Traveling Position: 21-year-old,
Traveling Destination: 11-year-old;
Melody echoes;
Lakdi ki kaathi, kaathi pe ghoda...!!

Besides providing this wonderful chance, the lockdown also brought all my notorious friends to rejoice those beautiful moments, again going down the memory lane together. Some from Anand, some from Vadodara, some from Ahmedabad, some who never had any time, some always with ample time. Everyone gathered again in the same place, our home town.

The Cycle of Life brought us back again at our original place. Reliving those old night games that had been long ignored and forgotten owing to our hectic schedules. Dibba Ice Pice, Marbles; “Satodiyu”, Bone between dogs and the long hours of Hide and Seek with our special edition of jumping the roofs. The memories still remain intact. Cricket has become more a part of our routines after the ease of restrictions in the green zones. Uno to Monopoly, Cards as well as Ludo and From Bingo to Dum Charades....All have been rediscovered and played till our hearts have laughed wide.

What haven't we enjoyed with the same touch of divine naughtiness as that was back in days of our childhood. Sleeping on the roofs, lost in view of the starry night, nostalgia creeping in giving a smile of those most stomach tickling moments we had; The windows we broke, the scoldings we got as drenched in rains, we ran around engulfed with fun, pranking around with doorbells after dark and all those innocent guilty pleasures better called as ''Kaands'' that we all were a part came knocking, on our windows, while passing by.

We just hope that all of us stay the same as we are keeping the child within us alive, nurturing it as it lives up to its fullest and enjoys life till its brim.
