A Pause of Realisation

Not So Dear Corona,

Someone said it right "Humans can never be satisfied!"
A few months back, everyone wanted a break, everyone wanted to chill, everyone wanted to be locked up in a house with full internet access; disconnected from the world. But now, when we finally got the much-needed break, we don't want it anymore. Nevertheless, we want to get back to our normal lives. Hypocrisy is at its peak.

As an Odia, I have a firm belief that ancient texts, by the mythological Guru Achyutananda, are true to its words.
According to his predictions-
"When the people of the world will become greedy and self-centred to an extent where their own well being would start to matter more than the well being of this planet, an unknown power will come into existence and that will be the beginning of the end."

Maybe you are the destruction. Maybe you are here to teach the humankind a lesson. Maybe you are here to give us the taste of our own medicine. Maybe you're here to heal the planet. Maybe you are the one.

No, I am not going to be grateful to you. After all, you have destroyed lives, not one, ten, or hundred, but tons of it.
But, Mother Earth can never thank you enough for helping her heal, treating her wounds and bringing her back to life once again.

We humans will never thank you. Never.
But maybe we will start realising where it all went wrong when utilisation turned into exploitation when we started valuing money more than anyone and anything.
And then, perhaps we will learn to pause once in a while.
.

Innumerous lives are at stake right now. It isn't just a massacre of the lives, but a bloodbath of peace, happiness and strength. People have started realising for good. And I believe this realisation would bring back the long lost beauty of life and nature. Your task is over, but it is about time you depart :)
